About this deal

A splendid idea (I never discovered its predecessor!). We rarely use the UK Motorway service stations, except for the loos, which are usually quite good. Our attempts to find a good eatery just off the Motorway have been rather hit and miss, so the guide could be very helpful. This was the first Flux chapter where we didn’t see Joseph Williamson or his tunnels, and there was no sign of Barbara Flynn’s mysterious White Guardian Awsok either. Or Swarm. Boo.

This could prove POPULAR! We always try to plan something like this, but never quite get around to it. This would definitely make it happen… I yelled out “She said the thing!” when Whittaker said “Reverse the polarity of the neutron flow”, regarded as Jon Pertwee’s definitive third Doctor catchphrase, even though he only actually said it twice. Here’s a supercut video of every time the Doctor has reversed a technobabble thingamajig since 1963. The inspiration for setting up the ESN was the knowledge that people who stammer are twice as likely to be unemployed, more so if their stammer is severe. Many employers hold negative attitudes towards people who stammer which can impact on the likelihood of successful recruitment or promotion. As a literal semi-deaf cyclist and walker (interestingly, from Bath) I know how important a good bicycle bell is. Do hope this design catches on. I have just realised that thus is the book i have always wanted, or at least since my first ever visit to a UK service station. A star turn ... My trusty steed is a pale blue Claud(ette – it is a ladies’ frame) Butler. Route? Manchester’s newly-built cycle path along the Oxford Rd/Wilmslow Road corridor. A nightmare pedalling home through the Curry Mile – the cycle path is so handy for other travellers such as skateboarders, mobility scooter users, folk with pushchairs, shopping, I-pods and all in need of a gentle reminder that two wheels are good….. A series of initiatives followed including intensive therapy courses and theatre workshops for children and teenagers who stammer, a series of open days and a BSA National Conference, plus training for speech & language therapists.Great Idea – disabled toilets are always a problem for my wife at Motorway services and we already pull of when we know of an alternative.

It would make a lovely replacement for my defunct King of the Road vintage bell, sitting purely ornamentally on my silver Bristol Bicycles’ Whiteladies model. What a great idea, fantastic for the kids on our long drives to see the grandparents on the Isle of Wight.Ron was appointed Chairman in 1987, and Sparrow Harrison became President. Ron continues, "I had been aware that the AFS could not expand or even survive run purely by volunteers. The job of supporting the growing number of self-help groups, area representatives and managing inquiries from the public, plus other activities, was becoming impossible to manage." This would go nicely on my Focus Mares, which goes by the name of Anakin, due to it being Skywalker blue 🙂 Beating household-name insurance companies such as John Lewis and the Co-op, we earned an ethical company index score of 89 – earning us joint-first place with Naturesave. So pleased this is finally out, got so excited to hear about it and get involved with your research of places to stop. I would love one please for my husbands giant defy , then he wouldn’t look at me with a “could you ring your bell please ” .
