Night Train to Marrakech: the spellbinding escapist

Night Train to Marrakech is the third and final book in the author's Daughters of War series. I've only read the first book, Daughters of War, and not the second, The Hidden Palace. Although Night Train to Marrakech can be read as a standalone, a number of characters from previous books (especially the first book) reappear, there are frequent references to events in the earlier books and some storylines reach their conclusion in this one. For all these reasons, I would recommend reading the series from the beginning. A mouthwatering read, intense and emotional. I loved it. Its characters hooked me irresistibly and stole my heart . . . a wonderful, heart-wrenching tale of love, danger and bone-chilling secrets’ KATE FURNIVALL I was slow to get into this book, but was so glad that I did. It was atmospheric, drew me into the souks of Marrakech.Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for a novel of this type but it didn't intrigue me, captivate or entance me. You’ll want (and frankly need) as much time as you can get to explore Fes. It’s massive and nothing short of fascinating! As for a night train from Marrakech to Fes. While it would be amazing! Sadly, an overnight train to Fes does not exist. About the Train Ride from Marrakech to Fes Last but certainly not least you can opt to rent a car and drive to Fes yourself! Definitely a road trip for the memory books, don’t ya think?!
