About this deal

Fett fits nicely in his ship, though, and that’s an advantage he has over most other Microfighter sets; usually, the minifigure is awkwardly straddling the top of the build like some forlorn astromech. The ship has the two expected laser cannons, too, though if you’re expecting them to really go pew pew, you might be disappointed—they just plop onto the floor when I launch them. (Though, if I’m honest, I prefer this to constantly losing them under the couch.)

A lot of the people here in the comments are acting as if LEGO doesn't regularly give Star Wars sets generic names, such as "Anakin's Jedi Interceptor" instead of Eta-2 Actis-class Interceptor, or "General Grievous' Starfighter" instead of Soulless One. I don't like the name change either, but only because of the context behind the change. " If you’re a fan of Boba Fett, LEGO or just very manageable building projects, I think the newest LEGO Star Wars Microfighter is for you. And hopefully, we won’t have to wait an entire year for the next installment in the series! Good. Why should great minifigures be unobtainable for younger Lego enthusiasts? And why should anyone care that expensive minifigures will depreciate in value?" I would have preferred the shoulder armour to be placed higher on both arms, but the shape of these panels is attractive. The combination of reddish brown and dark red across the forearms looks nice as well. The rifle bears little resemblance to Boba Fett's classic EE-3 carbine, which is a shame, but this was probably inevitable because of the stud shooter. The build in the set is a shrunken down version of the Slave I. The previous LEGO Slave I was already smaller than usual, but this one takes the cake! That said, I would only recommend this if you want the Mandalorian-era Boba Fett and don’t already have it – the microfighter is decent but definitely not a must-get.

LEGO Boba Fetts Starship (The Mandalorian) (75312) LEGO Boba Fett's Starship (The Mandalorian) (75312) From this angle you can see some of the details – I like the jumbled use of light grey, sand green, and dark green, which gives the model a weathered look even at this small scale. Is that a market that can sustain their growth models? Especially given the current economic and sociological (developed world birth dirth) climate? At 85 pieces, Fett’s iconic ship fits right in with the Microfighter family. The deep greens and reds really bring the ship to life, and the unforgettable shape of this fan-favorite vessel still cuts a foreboding silhouette for would-be bounties even in micro-size. Innovation [2]– Not really innovative, but making Boba Fett fit in such a small space in two different ways is pretty clever.
