i might not remember his character well from the time i read yellow thorns but i sure as hell know that sebastian never acted the way he did when he was with naomi in black throns than he did in red thorns. It had a whole lot of detailed sadistic behaviour, but the rest of the story was either lacking details, kept as a mystery from the reader or summarised by one of the characters to save time (it seems). I won't go into so much detail why i didn't like the first book only that it was 95% sex and smut and 5% character development. Like seriously, my heart can't contain the amount of love that I have for Sebastian and Naomi because this couple has completely stolen my heart and soul.

Less a fan of the heroine this time, especially after book one, though I loved the Japanese cultural references and their creative influences. the scene where he asks her to stay and she leaves and he himself with a broken heart doesn't accept and kidnaps her, shows how much this man does everything for this woman.

We are a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants with clients based predominantly in the Black Country and Worcestershire. Seb and Nao also had more conversations ( 1 or 2 more than previous book) as a couple rather than just sweating in the forest which showed about.

In the first book, Naomi had a pen pal, and I thought for sure I knew who it was, but how it played out had me thoroughly confused. and nate was STILL the angel from the first book, protecting sebastian and being the best uncle ever. but beware it’s dark, it totally deviates from the ’normal’ romance and it’s deliciously debauched too.

The cheating, 7 year time skip, too much drama and many weird plot twists, it was kinda too much for me. After the brutal and bloody cliffhanger that ended book one, it will be seven years before Sebastian and Naomi will come face to face again. Sebastian and Naomi just be created for each other, but there are huge obstacles standing between them. She spends her private days in London laughing like an evil mastermind about adding mayhem to her expanding universe.

if you’re like me and agree people can share and enjoy their bodies however they choose, then, also like me, you will enjoy the shear novelty of what takes places between these sheets. And eagle eyed Rina fans will also salivate over all the yummy little easter eggs that kept popping up in this story- and so much potential for future stories, too. I am definitely eager to try this much more and see what other stories she has crafted, because this one was quite unique.Her heroes are anti-heroes and villains because she was always the weirdo who fell in love with the guys no one roots for. Rina continues to embrace the dark and toxic in all of us- and harnesses in a way that makes it beautiful and profound. I love Author Kent's books because she gives the ultimate best antiheroes AND the story is every reader's wet dream.
