How did a first-time director like Chad Stahelski land one of the world's top talents for his debut with John Wick?In all fairness I was probably expecting too much from this comic, it being the origin story of one of the greatest characters in film history.

This was a fine, enjoyable read but it did not really provide me the John Wick/Continental backstory that I crave.
