Personalmente, creo que cualquier lectura de Jennifer L. Armentrout que elijas es un acierto seguro, es una autora que siempre consigue atraparte con lo que escribe, que siempre crea novelas amenas y entretenidas y lo mejor de todo es que es una escritora muy versatil, se atreve con cualquier genero y en todos consigue encantarme.

Y bueno, estoy pensando seriamente en leer el spin off... aunque no sé si realmente la historia de Brighton es realmente un spin off... En fin. Quiero saber en qué termina esto, y qué es de Ren, Ivy y Tink ❤️ Tenemos a una Ivy bastante afectada por los sucesos que vivió y por más que se muestre bien ante Tink y Ren, la verdad es que no puede enfrentarse muy bien a esos recuerdos, y por ende la podemos encontrar un poco perdida, preguntándose continuamente si sigue siendo ella misma. Alles in allem hat mir auch das Setting wieder gut gefallen. Es hat sich einfach schön angefühlt wieder bei den Charakteren zu sein, auch wenn die Tiefe gefehlt hat. Doch so ganz überzeugen konnte mich der Abschluss der Reihe leider nicht und es war eindeutig der schwächste Band der Reihe.While I appreciate Passionflix attempting this series, they really need to up their game when turning books into movies. Para terminar, Brave es un libro intenso, lleno de accion y que te dejara con ganas de mas, a mi me encanto, fue una conclusion esplendida para una saga que me hizo pasar muy buenos ratos.

Leider finde ich, dass das Ende etwas abrupt kam und nicht ganz so geendet hat, wie ich es mir gewünscht hätte. Nicht alle meine Fragen wurden beantwortet – was nicht ganz so schlimm ist, weil man dann selbst noch über die Geschichte nachdenken kann. Aber das Ende war schon sehr rasant und das hat mich gestört. Die ganze Zeit wird auf das Ende hingearbeitet und dann wird es so schnell abgehandelt.Por otro lado, Ren. Sigue teniendo la misma forma de ser que en los libros anteriores, y siempre está para Ivy, apoyándola y protegiéndola -como siempre- y más luego de los sucesos que leímos en "Semihumana". Es un personaje que pese a todo lo que tuvo que enfrentar, nunca perdió su esencia, fue evolucionando en cada libro pero sin dejar de ser ella. Lo cual me gustó mucho, pero si admito que me desesperaba un poquito cada vez que alejaba a alguien que quería ayudarla pero se puede entender perfectamente el porqué.

Jen probably wanted to focus on building Ivy and Ren's relationship and that in of itself took up nearly half the book! Good character development all around but it kind of lagged after while... Also, the actor playing Tink could dial it down a notch or twelve. His cutesy comments and delivery gets old. Yes, I know someone must have listened to the audiobook when studying how to play him...but what translates decently in written word, doesn't translate well into a real life character. He's just "Ivy Divy" irritating. A fantastic fae-centered urban fantasy that brought the struggle, action and dramatic love to a convincing close. Miss. Armentrout has my glazed attention and i won't stop the hunt until she pops out another fae gem.I didn't read the books beforehand, so for me the casting felt absolutely perfect! I love to see small-budget movies just because they introduce fresh faces, and this one didn't disappoint at all! Ren would do anything to keep Ivy safe. Anything. But when he makes a life altering choice for her, the fallout of his act has far reaching consequences that threaten to tear their lives apart. She was FINE at the end of the second book, but at the beginning of this one she suddenly wasn’t. I get it—the effects of trauma can take awhile to sink in. But dammit, I can only read so much of her not eating, not talking to anyone, and working out. That’s legit the first 50% of the book. Elphaba meets Glinda the Good Witch at school and after initially clashing, the pair eventually bond. The self-absorbed Glinda gives Elphaba a makeover to make her more popular among students.

What I love the most about this book - and this is classic JLA - is the witty banter between Ivy and Ren, Ivy and Tink, and Tink and Ren. Plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. Brave empieza a tropiezos, tiene un desarrollo espectacular y un final un tanto abrupto y que te deja con una sensación de incertidumbre (en otras palabras: el final es bastante abierto).Torn was so cheesy and cliché and something I’ve already read a hundred times before. The plot was so meh and you could see those twists coming from a mile. I didn’t have any sympathy for the MC’s. Cuando una lectura te deja con ganas de seguir leyendo despues de llegar a el fin es porque ha sido un buen libro y precisamente eso me sucedio a mi, al llegar al ultimo capitulo, desee que la historia no terminara, se me paso muy rapido y no me hubiera molestado que tuviera un par de capitulos mas y sobretodo un epilogo, lo eche mucho en falta, principalmente porque la conclusion es un poco abrupta. En esta segunda entrega, Ivy ya sabe que ella es la mestiza (una hija de los fae con una humana) y que, literalmente, puede ser la clave para el apocalipsis. La leyenda cuenta que si uno de los príncipes fae concibe un bebé con la mestiza, todas las puertas de los otros mundos se abrirán y los fae podrán dominarlo todo. Evidentemente, Ivy está en crisis, no solamente porque uno de esos creepy fae quiere tener sexy times con ella y crear un bebé del apocalipsis, sino porque está aceptando esta nueva identidad y lo que implica para ella siendo un miembro de la Orden. Porque, claro, si la Orden (o incluso Ren) se entera de lo realmente es, la matarían sin hacer preguntas. No quiero hacer esta reseña mas larga, especialmente porque temo soltar algun spoiler, solo decir que recomiendo mucho esta novela ( y la trilogia al completo ), les aseguro que no se arrepentiran, es un mundo muy interesante y original el que crea Jennifer L. Armentrout.
