Resident Evil 2 is a remake of the 1998 classic - reimagined with a over-the-shoulder perspective and plenty of new surprises. Congratulations! You have finished the game, but there is a lot more to come. You can play as the other character now or you could also try the 2nd run. Place all 3 Medallions into the statue on the 1st Floor of the Main Hall and a new path will open. Follow the path to the elevator and once you reach a staircase, leave in the middle of it (there is nothing to do in the bottom part of the staircase). Right after exiting the bus you will reach the orphanage. Head into the room Sherry’s part ended in and take the ladder down into the basement. We’ll wrap up in the Darkroom, just before we head upstairs and begin our hunt for the three medallions (which are different here than in the first campaign) in the next guide. Continue down the hall into the Watchman’s Room. Watch the cutscene play out, and you’ll receive the Officer’s Notebook, which tells you how to solve the Goddess Statue puzzle. OBJECTIVE: RETURN TO THE MAIN HALL Copy the puzzle solution from the image above. Once you have solved the puzzle you will receive scissors, which can be used to cut the tape and to escape the room. Follow the only path through the hallway until you reach a room with a corpse lying on the table and while grabbing the key, a cutscene will trigger. Head through the Cantine, up the ladder and follow the path into the kitchen. You have now skipped a General Staff door. In the nap room you will find the General Staff Access for your wristband. With that you can now head into the main room of the lab with 3 ways: the one you came from, one heading west and one heading east. You can now head east into the greenhouse area. Inside the office within the office, the safe combination is still the same, so enter it — 9 left, 15 right, 7 left — for a Hip Pouch.

The way to get underground is to find the three medallions and insert them into the Goddess Statue in the Main Hall. The Lion Medallion Capcom via Polygon Once you have placed both cubes and solved the puzzle, you will be able to grab the parking lot keycard… but a cutscene will trigger instead and you will switch to playing Sherry for a short part of the game.After outrunning Mr. X once again and after another cutscene you will find yourself in a room with a small ledge you can jump down off. Do this and follow the only way through the sewers until you reach a room with the item box, typewriter and 6 boxes on the wall where you are supposed to place chess-figure plugs into. The Sewers part begins. The Sewers On the south side of the office you can find a medical bag against the wall holding a First Aid Spray, and a High Grade Gunpowder next to it. The safe combination is the same as it was before, so enter it — 6 left, 2 right, 11 left — for the High-Capacity Mag. (JMB Hp3) upgrade for a gun that Claire doesn’t have yet. Leon will get the Muzzle Break, which increases accuracy for the Matilda handgun. The place has an explosive barricade you can’t blow up yet, but a nearby table holds a Hip Pouch to expand your inventory, and a creepy note - Some Guy’s Scribblings File, that may explain the number of bodies trapped in there. Be sure to also look along the left wall for more Handgun Ammo, then head through the door to the Library.

Fear not, though, as this is the same Police Station and Raccoon City you remember - it's dense, dangerous easy to get lost in, and full of tough puzzles. If you, unlike me, have actually played the original Resident Evil 2, then you might be wondering just how Capcom has improved upon the classic, and how they’ve modified the gameplay for a modern audience. For a start, Resident Evil 2 blends past elements of the series together, bringing in a new third person camera that hovers just behind the shoulder of the character you’re playing as. There is one type of collectible in Resident Evil 2: Mr Raccoons. They take the form of small bobbleheads that look just like raccoons. They make a noise when you're nearby, making it easier to locate them. There are 15 Raccoons to find, and they're all located in the Raccoon Police Department. So, you’re stepping into Resident Evil 2 for the first time. The first, and perhaps most obvious, advice is to make every bullet count. You’re going to start out with nothing but a pistol in the opening sections of the game as Leon and Claire, and it’s important to always aim for the head.

Once inside the police station you will be welcomed with a typewriter to save your game and an item box just in front you. The place where you want to go, however, is the closed shutter in the east side of the 1st floor with a lever next to it. Pull it and continue through the dark hallway. If you thought that the ending for Resident Evil 2 was a bit brief, that's because you haven't reached the final, secret ending that the game offers. There's actually nowhere in the game that points out the true ending, and so it's really easy to miss.
