NECA is excited to announce a new 8" clothed figure featuring the licensed likeness of Richard Dreyfuss as Matt Hooper from the 1975 classic. Collectors can expect an in-scale companion piece of the great white shark to arrive later this year.

NECA's Quint was a triumph, but now the action figure and collectable manufacturer have released a second member of the Orca's crew, Matt Hooper. For the first time in the movie’s 45 year history, NECA is happy to announce a brand new 8″ Clothed figure featuring the licensed likeness of Roy Schneider as Chief Martin Brody from the 1975 classic. Standing at 8″ tall, Brody is equipped with screen accurate accessories and tailored clothing. Collectors can expect an in-scale companion piece of the great white shark to arrive later this year. As you can see from the release notes above, the figure is estimated to release sometime in September. Sadly, as of press time, NECA is yet to confirm a retail price set for the figure. Sizes aren't available, and there is nothing in the foreground to give it any scale, but judging by the detail on Quint's shirt it probably isn't that large in size. And are they skinny jeans he is wearing? We also know that the Jaws great white shark is on his way as well, three tons of him.
