About this deal

For the previous method, we do not want to mirror the EasySubli. But with this process, we do need to mirror the sublimation print. You can mirror the image in Design Space or do it in the printer settings. Make sure you do it in just one place, not both. For the printed image, I am printing on regular sublimation paper with my sublimation printer using sublimation ink. Can and should I swap out the existing inks in my Sawgrass SG400 or SG800 sublimation printer for the EasySubli Inks? Other brands of sublimation inks and printers may work, but they will require trial and error testing. Siser has partnered with Sawgrass to develop special inks and a profile for the greatest print quality with the least hassle. Achieve the brightest colors and best results when paired with the specially developed printing profile and Siser EasySubli Inks by Sawgrass. Available for the Virtuoso SG500 and SG1000, Siser EasySubli Inks can do more than just print on EasySubli! Use Siser EasySubli Inks to achieve all your standard dye-sub needs as well, so there’s no need to switch out inks between projects. The low application temperature of 311°F even allows you to decorate heat sensitive fabrics like tri-blends and rayon!

The Easy Subli Inks have been formulated especially for printing on Siser Easy Subli HTV, and that is where you get the best results. It’s a bonus that they can also be used for traditional sublimation. Here’s my shirt after pressing with this method. These colors aren’t exactly what I had intended. The original file is more pastel, especially the lighter colors, and the greens are quite a bit different. It’s okay, it still looks great. Let me try to answer some of the most FAQ on Siser EasySubli for you so you can decide if it's a product and process you want to try!The rollers on the EcoTank printer especially are so close to the printed area that I end up with roller marks. EasySubli requires a sublimation printer which has a much higher price tag and start up cost than an inkjet printer EasySubli HTV can be applied at a lower temperature (311) vs inkjet printable which needs to be pressed at 375 degrees Regular transfers are generally pressed for 30 seconds, while Easy Subli transfers only need 15 seconds!

It is possible, but not recommended or necessary that you flush the ink in a Sawgrass SG400 or Sawgrass SG800 to replace it with EasySubli inks. The reality is swapping inks isn't necessary - you can get just fine results using the sublimation inks you already have in your ink Sawgrass (or other) sublimation printer. Also compatible with the Sawgrass Virtuoso SG800 (SG800 discontinued for SG1000) desktop sublimation printer. What is Siser EasySubli HTV? Siser EasySubli Heat Transfer is a lined, printable heat transfer material that can only be printed onto using a sublimation printer and sublimation inks. It can be used with various brand sublimation printers and sublimation inks. Yup it's print and cut....with the new Siser EasySubli printable Heat Transfer material using a sublimation printer and Silhouette cutting machine. I think the concept is a bit difficult to understand at first because it's not like traditional sublimation and there's already printable HTV on the market that you can use with your home inkjet printer - but EasySubli is where they collide. You are actually sublimating directly onto the heat transfer material rather than the final good - like a t-shirt. There are both pros and cons to this. I have to admit it took me months of talking directly with Sawgrass and Siser to fully understand this heat transfer vinyl-meets-sublimation product. All they had to do was tell me...Melissa, EasySubli is printable heat transfer material using a sublimation printer which results in sublimation-quality color prints that can be applied to cotton and darks!

The results demonstrate that SawGrass Sublijet ink is better on all the usual sublimation blanks, but, of course, Siser Easy Subli is best on cotton and dark fabrics. Press at 385 degrees for about 30 seconds. When you’re done remove everything from the top while it’s hot. Finished EasySubli with Epson Sublimation Print

EasySubli HTV has a slightly softer feel than the inkjet printable heat transfer for darks we tested it against The EasySubli material is expensive! If you are going to try to print directly on the material, make sure you test it first. I printed on half a sheet to test the ink and the cut setting. Remove the protective sheet and locate the sublimation design on top of the EasySubli. Use heat-resistant tape to hold the print in place and then add the protective paper over the top of the sublimation print and use heat-resistant tape to hold it into place. To use Siser EasySubli with printers that aren’t Sawgrass, I have another option that works well and eliminates the problems that I’ve run into below. EasySubli Printing Issues No. Siser EasySubli HTV will work on any sublimation printer, however Siser recommends using a Sawgrass Sublimation printer with EasySubli Inks for best results. Select “Continue”, title your file, add tags if you’d like, and be sure to save the image as a “Print Then Cut” file.

When used on light colored cotton shirts inkjet printable heat transfer materials transfer the ink into the fibers of the fabric, whereas EasySubli sits on top as a decalSiser EasySubli mask is an essential part of using this product.Used for transferring multiple parts onto substrate and similar to transfer tape used with adhesive vinyl.
