Care Co-Lactase® enzyme drops can be added to breast milk and formula milk every time you feed. Do not give the drops directly to your baby. Suitable from birth. Milkaid® Drops can be added to milk to reduce lactose content and then used on cereal and in drinks. Simply add three drops to 500ml of milk, gently shake and refrigerate for 24 hours. This will reduce the lactose level by approximately 70%. For an even greater reduction add ten drops, which will reduce the lactose level by approximately 96%. Once treated you can use the milk just like ordinary milk for cooking, on cereals or in beverages. Keep a log of the times when your baby’s colic is at its worst – you may be able to find a pattern associated with any triggers, allowing you to understand better how to ease the symptoms. What are the side effects of Care Co-Lactose Drops?

We use gripe water in every bottle & infacol drops in mouth every bottle. We aim for around 4 burps per bottle, avg 1 burp/30ml. Sounds like I'm being a bit OTT, but I honestly think these 2 liquids really help burp & having several different burping techniques perfected helps - i can feel her tummy is inflated when she has a burp due & if I cant get her wind up, I ask my husband to try, before I give up & do some more milk before trying again.

Give this to her on a sterilised plastic spoon or using a syringe and continue breast feeding as normal.
