About this deal

A day of celebration ends in blood, and with the falling of the sun, an era comes to an end. In a matter of seconds, heroes are made villains, villains are made heroes, and morality blurs as the future writers of history make their bids for power. Among all these players, and unbeknownst to the rebel movement, is Inori. No one knows just how much of a threat one layabout can be, and it just so happens that this one is more than capable of tipping the scales however he’d like. The only question is which side serves his interests the most—and whether a certain princess-made-fugitive has the strength to weather tragedy.

Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest - I've only seen the anime and the MC is a complete cringey edgelord but I honestly love it XD Protagonist is a bi-polar sadist who tries to write on the knight captain's face one day after she did the same thing to him while he was sleeping. The next day, he feeds one of her trusted female knights to the undead out of curiosity. An experiment. Name’s Inori Takafuji. I’m not really much of a “go-getter,” if you catch my drift—sleep’s more my style—but getting summoned to another world kinda messed things up. Bit hard to chill when you’ve got a king in your face telling you there’s a bad guy you’ve gotta go slay or whatever, you know? Plot twist, though—it’s actually not so bad. Getting the hero treatment sounds pretty nice, right? There is little to no character development, so much so, the main character is a total question mark at the beginning of the story and much more so, as the story moves on... Now, I have seen comments saying things like "you just don't likethat he's not a 'beta whimp' and can actually kill his enemies." Believe me, that is far from the problem. I have myfair share of merciless killer protagonists I love and I even love the cringey edgelords <3. The problem lies in how uncomfortable his behavior is. He'll suddenly be lording over people like a god (which I would normally think of as an enjoyable badass moment), but because he doesn't have any sort of personality or desires as a character, it's just like, "why should I care?" There's no catharsis from him finally releasing his powers or even rooting for him to win because there's literally nothing about him that is likable or even creates the illusion that he is, in fact, a character (There seemed to be some hope in the first chapter, but he just kept getting worse). He really is just a self-insert with no substance.

Fenrir—an elden beast bound by an ancient pact to protect. Inori Takafuji—just some guy. A seemingly one-sided battle becomes a cruel experiment as the cynical scoundrel himself goes up against a veritable monarch of the canids. But Inori isn’t the only one conspiring against thrones. As anyone with eyes could have suspected, all is not well in the Kingdom of the Rising Sun... Perhaps the undead layabout’s encounter with the great wolf was but an omen of things to come. My name is Inori Takafuji and I am not one to go out of my way for things. Sleeping is more my cup of tea, but being transported to another world has disrupted my lifestyle. It's hard to relax when a king demands that you take out an enemy. However, here's the twist - it's not as bad as it seems. Being treated like a hero sounds pretty amazing.

It’d been a week since we were summoned to be heroes, which meant it’d been a week since the three of us started our lives here together. Out of the three of us, I felt like Masayoshi Date stood out the most because his name meant justice in name alone, which I felt both did and didn’t match him. In my mind, he wasn’t nearly as much an ally of justice as he seemed to think he was. All the same, both Yuichi Tanaka and I had been saved by this guy. But that's not all - it keeps happening! Another fool summons me, and I am granted a new superpower, and off I go. It's understandable; sometimes you get isekai'd to the wrong place. Nonetheless, it keeps happening! Someone else summons me, I gain another power, and I'm transported to a completely new place. The cycle is never-ending. Nah. I’m always cool. He said these words with neither a hint of hesitation nor irony. He deserved an award for being able to say that with a straight face.

Our servers are getting hit pretty hard right now. To continue shopping, enter the characters as they are shown So, of course I was interested in this manga. I like the concept of the same dude getting summoned repeatedly and accumumlating abilities as he gets acquainted with the goddess. The MC loungingon the ground as he kept getting summoned was peak comedy. Enter: Masayoshi Date. A red-blooded man on a mission to prove himself, and nothing but the lamentations of a certain Inori Takafuji can sate his hunger for victory. He’s also a distinct thorn in everyone’s side and a total vibe killer. Inori is, of course, less than interested in putting up with the ramblings of a madman, but if there’s one thing he’s good at, it’s being a snake, and this situation is ripe for the swindling.EditSynopsis Name's Inori Takafuji.
