About this deal

I found particularly useful the mentions on how much product we should apply, as sometimes it's not too clear. From what I can gather about Hirons, she knows her stuff and cares and uses language that us meer skincare virgins can understand. igas asjas on ta juhtmõte see, et iga inimene teeb oma välimusega (ja oma rahaga), mis tahab, aga et meil on õigus teada, mis tegelikult kuidas töötab, ja mitte lasta brändidel endale maha müüa mingeid asju, mis ei saagi töötada. Hirons also provides you with helpful guidance on what ingredients you should be trying to use for your specific skin conditions. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed with the sheer level of often contradictory information and the amount of products being sold to us.

The detail is astounding; despite being just over 300 pages long each page is jam packed with information and there is simply no fluff! nagu öeldud, puhta kullana ma kõike, mis ta soovitab, ei võta (ei ole mul aega mingite niisutavate spreide jaoks ega selleks, et duši all nägu kuivaks jätta), aga ma arvan, et ta ei solvuks, kui ta seda teaks. I’ve already learned a few new things I wasn’t aware of, and I can see myself referring to this book on a regular basis.

My near perfect treat it as bad as you want skin is rebelling and talking to me and showing me on some days that it’s clearly not happy. There are a few pages more of given topics (eg acne from having to wear masks in Covid times) and the book description says there are also new pictures and products recommendations have been updated. I have suffered from this condition all my life, but have developed ways of dealing with and it was never my face.

it also provides the reader with the tools to understand inki lists and make informed decisions on skincare products they may not be addresses in the book. Dairy takes a cute calf into a cow in under a year”, it’s not good for you and you need to take your supplements.

I haven't read the author's blog, but of course, the material in the book would be similar unless the author has changed her opinion about something. BUT a start with a routine and ingredients to look for and what to avoid and it’s written here in this skin bible that I can go and worship when I feel the inclination. Yes, she does have a slight bias in favour of some brands, but this is based on her knowledge of ingredients and her many years as an esthetician.

And even though, thank goodness that they are clearly marked, one can see why these big brands want her to say good things about them – because people trust her. We added some of her top product recommendations to our kit and followed her step-by-step guide to see if there was a discernible difference when it came to our skin.

I’m in my mid 30s and have for years struggled with managing my skin - not because it’s horrendous but having the confidence to understand redness issues or why I just can’t settle acne. Come down the travelators, exit Sainsbury's, turn right and follow the pedestrianised walkway to Crown Walk and turn right - and Coles will be right in front of you. Hirons describes moisturiser as your coat, adding that overlooking it is like “leaving the house butt naked”.
