About this deal

The upper consists of a double-layer engineered mesh with the outer layer having large perforations in it for air to permeate. In the running shoe world, it’s very rare that an update undergoes such a big change that it is unrecognisable. The only other example I can think of is the Nike Vomero 14. The Structure 23 is no longer a traditional stability shoe with a firm ride and a harder medial post. Thank you, Nike, for sending these shoes to me so that I could run in them and write this review. This Nike React Infinity Run review will explain how these shoes can help reduce running-related injuries (and if this statement is even true), how they perform while running (including comfort, support, durability, and performance), some key design features, sizing advice, whether they’re worth buying, and finally a review summary with a rating out of 10 and with my pros and cons. All the rubber weighs down the shoe but this is one of the most durable outsoles to come out this year and I’ll be really surprised if it doesn’t get to over 1000 kilometres.

React Infinity Run key design features (upper material, midsole, outsole, width, weight, heel-to-toe drop, etc) I tried out the Nike React Infinity Run on buffed trails too. They performed really well. How well do they perform while running?

Many of the firmer, neutral trainers are stable enough to not need a medial post. Examples include the Brooks Glycerin and Ghost, the Saucony Ride and the Mizuno Wave Rider.

Nike Structure 24 Review (2021 Release) - DOCTORS OF RUNNING Nike Structure 24 Review (2021 Release) - DOCTORS OF RUNNING

Pssst, have you heard about Nike’s React Infinity Run FlyKnit running shoes yet? Well, you have now but did you know Nike designed them specifically to help reduce the risk of running-related injuries for runners who train for half marathons. Imagine if ASICS removed the firm medial post from the Kayano and gave it a single-density midsole. That’s exactly what they did with the Kayano Lite but at least they still kept the regular Kayano for runners who still want traditional stability. One thing I would agree on, is that for the first mile the shoes need some warm-up. After that, i usually feel like I’m running on clouds. Version 23 was one of the biggest updates in the history of Nike so it makes sense that version 24 is one of the smallest updates. It maintains the same midsole and outsole as last year’s version but it gets a new upper. It’s a high-intensity and high-impact distance for many runners. The difference with shorter distance races (I’m classifying the half marathon as a shorter distance due to some of the ultramarathons that I have run, it’s all relative of course), as opposed to ultramarathons, is that it’s a distance that tempts so many people (myself included) to run extremely hard over the entire time it takes to finish. The problem with running at nearly full intensity for over 1.5hrs, on a road surface is that you’re likely to be overstriding and putting a lot of pressure on your legs, which can cause a multitude of injuries including runners knee, ITB injury, shin splints, Achilles tendonitis, and plantar fasciitis, to name a few. Come to think of it, looking at that list, I suffered from all of those injuries when I started out my running journey. Responsiveness is good in the forefoot because of the Zoom Air unit but is less responsive in the soft heel. There is a shallow cavity under the heel which adds a bit more responsiveness. This was an effective change as I noticed how my feet were landing on my stride. The wider than average toebox gives you ample room to spread out. I found the level of cushioning to be higher than most daily trainers and even softer than a lot of max-cushioned shoes. It was for sure softer than the Glycerin 18 and the Bondi 7. Instead of Flywire cables, there are soft, mesh panels which are the Cucumber Calm colour that you can see through the perforations at the midfoot. These work much better than Flywires or Flywire straps Nike has been using.

Nike Air Zoom Structure 22: Product Review | Runner Expert

However, the Zoom Structures were average, at best. Yes, I was able to log my miles, but the sole unit was too firm and the upper too washy. Extra cushioning in the React midsole. This gives you a softer landing, reducing stress on your knees, shins, and heels. The Nike Zoom Structure’s sole unit was completely redesigned between the 19th and 20th edition, and hasn’t been touched since. When I say breathable, I run in sunny Las Vegas, and I’m telling you, the uppers ventilate nicely on those sweaty runs. Soles that politely grip the road The React Infinity Run is very comfortable underfoot, even while running fast due to the springy and cushioned React foam in the midsole. Nike has actually added 24 percent more React foam in these shoes compared with the Nike Epic React 2.Unlike the Vomero 16, the Structure 24 has 3 flex grooves on its forefoot which helps with flexibility and makes the ride feel more relaxed. It also has a large teardrop-shaped cavity under its heel which saves weight and increases heel cushioning.
